In this workshop through the Heartbeat 5R maps we explore growing our capacity for Compassion
Seeking out Compassion in it's different forms

Do we run out of acceptance and kindness, or can it continue like an underground stream that keeps flowing?
How do we draw the line and stop people pleasing to stand tall in truth
How deep is our trust when times are tough and everything falls away?
Can sensitive, thoughtful action change our world?
Does Compassion include ourselves? Does it need to do something, or can it just be?

In Compassion we are in service. Gotta serve somebody - who are you going to serve?
This map opens the interconnection with all of life - how does this affect us: what wakes up? What is it impossible to ignore?

Heartbeat is a distinct body of work within 5 Rhythms practice. The intention is to embody the heart by studying how emotion moves and gets stuck, letting go of frozen emotion from the past, and clearing the way for love. ( Alex )

Alex Mackay
I love my work. I live in beautiful West Wales but I'm lucky to also teach internationally. I'm the first teacher after Gabrielle Roth and Jonathan Horan to offer the archetypal workshop 'God, Sex & the Body'.
I enjoy mentoring people studying and offering the 5Rhythms maps at all the levels I teach.
My teaching is spacious and embodied, full of spirit, depth and creativity. I have a lot of energy and love to dance with the group.
